Emoveo is a collective exhibition exploring movement from the perspective of 11 young designers (MA) from Aalto University School of Arts, Design and Architecture department of Design. The works were on display during Helsinki Design Week 2018.
We brought two containers to the courtyard between Designmuseum and Architecture Museum in Helsinki. The whole concept was designed and made by us, group of students. We also held panel discussion “Trust your hands - navigating design/craft futures” with our panelists Julia Lohmann, Aamu Song & Johan Olin (Company), Elina Helenius in Designmuseum.
My responsibilites were: being part of creating the exhibition concept and building the exhibition together with our group, social meadia updates and facilitate the panel discussion together with Erin Türkoğlu.
I exhibited my artwork called “Transition” in the exhibition.

In collaboration with Niina Hyry I designed and made lighting and light installations for Ravintola Hukkatila (a pop-up restaurant) in Asko’s old factory.
We created atmosphere and highlighted different parts of the space with the lights.

Unveiled 2015 is the project and the exhibition title. Us students, we wanted to do an international exhibition in our own terms. We wanted to show fresh Finnish design to the world. And so we did.
So, summer 2015 me and my classmates packed a buss with our best prototypes and drove through Via Baltica to DMY Design Festival Berlin.
My role in this project was being a project coordinator and art director.
The exhibition was great success and it was shown in many different international medias.
