I just started my MA studies at Aalto University. I'm so excited about it and I can't wait to start my first courses. This school has such a long and important history in Finnish Design industry and I'm really proud to be a part of that history also. Approximately in two years the school will move to Otaniemi away from the legendary Arabianranta. I'm happy that I still had the chance to do my MA studies here at Arabia.
I was so happy when I heard that my graduation project "Intuition vs Reason" will be mentioned in the yearbook. So here it is. And the yearbook looks amazing! It is done by many talented students from Lahti Institute of Design, thanks guys!
This Spring's by far the best news was that I got accepted to the Master's Programme in Product and Spatial Design at the Aalto University. There are only 25 students who were accepted this year and luckily I was one of them. I'm really looking forward to my studies at the Aalto University. I chose Applied Art and Design for my conpetence area.
This is a competition work made by me. Unfortunately it wasn't one of the finalists but I really like it so I wanted to share it with you anyways.

I was really fortunate to be selected to the Protoshop 2016 Exhibition with my work "Intuition". The exhibition will take place next Autumn at Habitare Furniture Fair in Helsinki. This is the description from the organizer the award winning Imu.
"... Protoshop is a platform where designers can meet companies and end-users and test how their designs are pervceived by the public .... The event has helped several designs to find a home with companies such as Innojok, New Works and Saas Instruments. Protoshop is produced for Habitare by Imu design in co-operation with Messukeskus."
"Imu is a designer-led exhibition organization established in 2002 which is run by Elina Aalto, Krista Kosonen and Saara Renvall. Imu has exhibited works by over 100 designers both in Finland and internationally. In 2010 they were awarded the Young Designer of the Year prize by Design Forum for their work in promoting young Finnish design."
